condoms.

Did you know that the U.S. doesn't and has not payed their U.N. dues for decades (except for when Clinton was President, and he even payed some of the back dues) because the U.N. funds organizations that distribute condoms to fight against AIDS. Since the U.N. provides aid to these organizations, the U.S. dues would also indirectly be funding these organizations. What are your thoughts?

Isn't the withholding of funds also related to how much the US is billed by the UN? We pay more of the UN budget than any other country and Congress uses the withholding of funds to pressure the UN on a variety of issues, not just condoms, right?

yes, and no. basic UN dues (which every country pays) are not paid because of the condom principle. additional budget moneys (which every country also pays... i am not sure how the numbers are determined) is what congress pays or doesn't pay. what you said... correct, but different moneys.
